For many women, our purse is our best friend. Sure, our handbag works wonders for practical purposes. But our purses are often times a reflection of our fashion tastes and personality. Around the world, most women carry a purse daily. I, myself, would feel lost without my purse. Whether you prefer to carry a small satchel bag with only your essential items or if you are someone who wears a large, over the shoulder tote filled with numerous products, there are certain items that are simply a handbag must have!

Lipstick/Lip Gloss: Even the strongest “made to last all day†lipsticks and lip glosses need an occasional touch up throughout the day. Not only does your lipstick look fabulous and make your face stand out, it also keeps your lips soft and supple, avoiding dry and cracked lips.
Concealer/Face Powder: Always keep concealer and/or face powder in your purse in either a dry or cream formula. If you’ve worked all day and are going out that night, a quick application of concealer or face powder will help eliminate and cover up any flaws, blemishes, or oily skin areas.
Hairbrush or Comb: The most put together hairstyle can wilt or loosen at some point during the day, even if the hairdo is held firmly in place with hairspray. An occasional brushing or combing of your hair will keep flyaways down and leave your hair looking sleek, shiny, and healthy.
Hand Lotion or Hand Sanitizer: Your hands will come in contact with many dirty objects and germs throughout the day. Be sure to keep a moisturizing lotion sanitizer in your purse for those times when you pump gas, use the restroom, dine out, etc. Even punching numbers in an ATM machine puts grime and germs on your hands.
 
Makeup Brushes or Sponges: For those moments when you need to quickly blend your blush or remove face oil, your makeup brush or makeup sponge is a definite handbag must have.
Cash : In this day of credit cards and debit cards, you always want some cold hard cash available to you at all times. You never know when you will truly need it, and at those times paper currency will be a lifesaver. You will feel better knowing you have some cash available to you.
If you carry these six essential items in your purse, you can be certain you’ll have the necessary products to keep you relaxed and beautiful all day long. In addition to these six items, you’ll also benefit by carrying your keys and a strong pair of sunglasses in your purse, and of course, your iPhone!
