Yellow and orange, two colors that were extremely popular in the 1970s, are coming back in fashion. Whether the colors have reemerged in cars, furniture, accessories and/or makeup, yellow and orange are making a big splash in the world of fall 2019 fashion. Not only are yellow and orange considered autumn colors, think leaves, Halloween and Thanksgiving, but they are warm, inviting, gorgeous colors that work well both on the runway and in mainstream fashion!

The color orange is a warm color on the color wheel, made by mixing yellow and red.  Orange radiates warmth and happiness, combined with the physical energy and stimulation of red, with the cheerfulness of yellow. The color orange is bold and brassy, conjuring up feelings of optimism and hope. Orange is uplifting and rejuvenates the spirit. If you’re ever feeling down in the dumps, dress yourself in a knock-out orange outfit and apply orange lipstick. Your mood will ramp up immediately!
