So how do you capture the allure of green hair highlights while keeping your hair healthy? There are 3 ways to add green shades to your hair:

First, decide if you want green streaks, green highlights or a full head of green hair. For stripes and highlights, the temporary mascara and hair chalk will work well. To actually dye the hair, you can do this yourself at home. Style your hair as you normally do. Use a green colored bleach kit that you can purchase at beauty salons and drug stores. If you are adding green highlights, apply the dye from the middle of the hair shaft down to the ends.
