Where do I start with boots? From ankle boots, to cowboy boots, to thigh-high boots, there are almost as many different styles of boots as there are clothing items. Although I find many types of boots to be attractive, I particularly love high heeled boots, and if you follow my style blog, there is no surprise with that fact. I am a lover of high heeled shoes, and high heeled boots run a close second.
A boot is a type of footwear and a specific type of shoe. Most boots cover the foot and the ankle, and extend up the leg, sometimes as high as the knee, or even over the thigh and up to the hip! Generally, on a boot, the heel is clearly distinguishable from the sole of the boot, even if the two are made from one piece.
High heeled boots are high glamour and haute couture. Nothing adds style and pizzazz to an outfit as much as a knock-out pair of high heeled boots.
This particular picture above demonstrates style from head to toe. The symmetrical lines of the shoes, the sleek look of the outfit and the overall appearance of the model and the clothing shouts fashion. Style isn’t really something that you can define. Style is something you see, the way the person walks, the way the clothes fit, the overall image that is projected when all of the fashion elements are combined and come together perfectly.
Everything fits, everything works, everything is precise. And just like stardom, style is something that you know as soon as you see it, but you just can’t quit put it into words.
Originally, boots were made of leather and/or rubber, but modern boots are made from a variety of materials. Boots that tend to make runway icon status and have particularly high heels tend to be fashion boots and go-go boots.
