MIX AND MATCH OUTFITS MADE EASY!

MIX AND MATCH OUTFITS MADE EASY!

You don’t have to be a shopaholic to look like a fashion plate! You simply need a few basic clothing items that you can mix and match with your other wardrobe. By changing a shirt, adding a blazer, switching from flat shoes to high heels and wearing different jewelry pieces, you can change your entire look while dressing in the same items. Much like layering your clothing, using basic essential garments to upgrade and expand your wardrobe is easy to do.

Mix and match outfits made easy!

To mix and match your clothing well, your closet should have: a blazer, a sweater, a dress, a pantsuit, jeans, high heels, flat shoes, a pencil skirt, one long sleeve shirt, one short sleeve shirt and athletic wear. You should also have various jewelry items in your jewelry box (custom or fine jewelry).

Let’s suppose that you’re dressed in your jeans, flat shoes and a white blouse with minimal jewelry, but you’re attending a friend’s birthday celebration with dinner reservations at a nice restaurant. If you put on your blazer over your white blouse, slip off your flats, put on your stiletto heels, and then top the outfit off with bangle bracelets, long earrings, and a darling choker around your neck, not only will it look like a completely different outfit but you haven’t even had to entirely change your clothes. All you did was mix and match. Imagine that!

Another way to expand your wardrobe is mixing your pantsuit with your pencil skirt. Let’s say that your pantsuit consists of a pair of pants and a matching waist jacket and that you have chosen to wear your long sleeve shirt underneath the jacket. Now you are attending an event where you should wear a dress but your wardrobe is limited. All you need to do is change your pants and put on your pencil skirt, still wearing your long sleeve shirt and waist jacket. Once again step out in your high heeled shoes and your choice of accessories and you’ve turned your casual pants outfit into a more dressy, sensual dress. Pencil skirts are sexy merely by the way they fit and hug your body. Every fashion diva should own one pencil skirt as they are feminine and adorable.

Did you know you can turn your athletic wear into daytime wear? Depending on where you are going, dressing in workout attire and/or sweat suits can be acceptable clothing. If you are going to the grocery store, running errands, meeting friends for a casual lunch, dressing in athletic wear is completely appropriate. Invest in some great looking workout clothes and you will not only stay in shape and look great doing it, but you can also mix and match the clothing for everyday attire.

You can also change your look and your wardrobe merely by changing your shirt. If you’ve gone through the day wearing a short sleeve Tee, and you then remove the Tee and replace the shirt with a long sleeve turtleneck while still wearing the same pants and flat shoes, you can put a spin on the look of the outfit, making it appear as if you have completely changed your clothes. Once again, if you wish to give off a fancy look, add rhinestone or jeweled accessories and you will turn up the volume of the outfit. It is that easy!

Less truly is more! Expand and grow your wardrobe with these basic essential clothing garments. By mixing and matching what you already own in your closet, you will have a different outfit for each day and evening without doing lots of shopping or breaking your pocketbook! Mixing and matching clothing never looked so good! Get creative with your clothing items and you will discover that you do own far more outfits than you realize.

Mix and match your clothing and watch your wardrobe truly soar! Be the fashion plate where less is more!
