Dressing Cozy in a Winter Wonderland!

My style blog post today is going to be all about pictures. With winter days and cooler weather ahead, dressing for the cold, inclement atmosphere can be downright fun (the clothes, that is, not the freeze)! I am not a fan of cold weather, in fact, I find it extremely uncomfortable, and if given the choice, I would love warm, sunny weather all year long.
No wind, no rain, no clouds! Some people would get bored with this, however, I am not one of those people. I so love the dry heat and desert type weather that I truly should have been born a lizard. Give me a 90 degree day and a rock to lay on to suck up the heat, and I am a happy girl!
However, when it comes to dress, winter clothes are prime! You can add layers, wear cashmere sweaters, jeweled jackets and knee high boots!
As a fashion forward gal, here are some put together garment ensembles that put the “cool” in cold!

From sweaters, to scarves, to long skirts, winter clothes are fashionable, sexy and oh so comfortable to wear!
May I suggest reading a good book while getting a good chill?  May I suggest reading A Passion for Prying and Murder Can Be Messy? You don’t have to be basking in the sun’s rays at the beach to enjoy a Natalie North novel!

I love the garments that are put together in this picture below. This outfit reminds me of something that I would wear! I now have an excuse to go clothes shopping! Not that I need a reason!

A look that I particularly love for cold weather (that still looks exquisite and trendy):

  1. A pair of straight legged denim jeans or skinny jeans
  2. A classy high heel (a pump or stiletto as opposed to a platform shoe)
  3. A soft, furry, long sleeved, form fitting cashmere sweater
  4. A thick, trendy belt around the waist
  5. A long, dainty strand of white pearls or a gold or silver chain (elegant, not large or gaudy)
  6. Bangle bracelets

This outfit always shines and fits in anywhere that you may be going. I especially love the look when the jeans are blue or black denim, the sweater and shoes are black, and the belt is white. Adding some white and/or red accessories pulls the look together to fashion know-how magnificence!

Cozy Winter Clothes Tip: You may not want to wear this many layers of clothing when you pass through airport security. You might miss your flight!

If you are someone like me who finds cold weather painful, and you wish that you could hibernate the winter days away, at least you can find some solace and comfort in the knock-out, nifty, comfortable and classy clothes that you can wear!
Let your outfits get you through your rainy or snowy day, the stylish way!
