Early Life and education
Nancy Mangano was born in Lansing, Michigan to Donald Eugene Southwell, an upper management executive in aerospace, and Annette Louise Southwell (nee Schmetzer), a business owner of a heating and air conditioning company. Her father is of English and German ancestry, and her mother is of predominantly German descent, with English lineage. Her father was attending Michigan State University when Nancy was born, and after his graduation, her parents moved the family to Southern California, where Mangano grew up. She has one older sister, Victoria (Vicki) and was raised in the Roman Catholic religion.
Mangano attended Santa Ana Junior College where she received an Associate in Arts Degree in Criminal Justice. During this time she worked at the Orange County Sheriff – Coroner Department. She transferred to California State University, Fullerton where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications/Broadcast Journalism & Radio/TV/Film. With passions in writing, detective work and fashion, Mangano interned at KCBS-TV with then investigative reporter Harvey Levin (currently of TMZ), KTLA and KNBC-TV. Mangano then worked at NBC-TV, Burbank for two years as a full-time employee, assisting in the KNBC newsroom and working in the Corporate Media Events department and the Movies/Miniseries department.
According to Mangano, while she was working at the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, she decided that it would be “much more fun to play an investigator on TV as opposed to being one in real life”, and consequently changed her major to Communications.[4]
Early career
Mangano has always enjoyed writing and fashion. As a young girl she would write stories, even making an About the Author page. By the age of twenty, she had a complete modeling portfolio of herself and she would drive to Hollywood, California, knocking on agents’ doors and being sent on go-sees, where she landed print modeling jobs.  She also appeared as an extra in three feature films, Body Shot (1994), Speechless (1994) and Bug Buster (1998) and one made-for-television movie, A Perry Mason Mystery: The Case of the Jealous Jokester (1995). Later she incorporated these interests together in her writing of novels and feature film screenplays.

  2. I’ve been surfing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.
It’s pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if
all website owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be much more useful than ever before.
