Paint Your Eyelashes to Exquisite Colorful Splendor!

I love the summer time! I am a fan of hot weather, long days, looking at all of the colorful flowers that are in bloom and making sure I have some fun! I’ve been to four movies in the last few weeks (The Great Gatsby, The Lone Ranger, Despicable Me 2 and The Heat), now I need to make sure that I get to the Orange County Fair, and then over to Knott’s Berry Farm to ride Ghost Rider! After all, girls just wanna have fun!
So, what better way to have fun with your eyes than to highlight your precious peepers with radiant, colorful, colored mascara? Mascara is sexy, and whether your eyes are decorated up with various shades of eye shadow, or makeup free, long, sultry, stand out eyelashes are simply stunning!
Colored mascara is a perfect makeup enhancement that blends in with the splendor that is summer time!
Festive, fierce, fun, flamboyant, fashionable!

Tips for Choosing Colored Mascara:

  1. Choose a mascara shade that will emphasize the color of your eyes (This doesn’t have to mean use the same color mascara as your eye shade, but matching the color of mascara to your color of eyes makes for a cool effect).
  2. Use a quality product, and to add emphasis to the length and thickness of the lashes, apply a primer coat to the lashes before you swipe on the colored mascara. This gives your eyelashes extra oomph!
  3. Using one color for the top eyelashes, and a different color for the bottom lashes, shouts fun, brazen and playful!
  4. The brighter the mascara color, the less mascara you need to apply.

Colored Mascara Fun Fact: Colored mascara has one big plus: colored mascara makes your eyes look bigger! In addition, the colored mascara provides you with a joyous, pleasant look.

Colored Mascara Application Tip: Using two separate colors on your top eyelashes and/or bottom eyelashes gives off a striking, mood enhancing flare. For example, use a navy blue on the bottom portion of your top eyelashes (the part of the lash that is closest to the eye) and then swipe a turquoise or a light blue shade of mascara over the tips of the upper eyelashes. This way, you have your upper eyelashes coated with both a dark blue and a light blue shade. You can do the same with the lower lashes, using any colors that you prefer!
Allow your colors of mascara to provide insight into the colors of your personality! Subtle and sexy!

An extremely attractive look with colored mascara is to keep a bare eye (no eye shadow), apply a dark eyeliner (either black or colored), add colored mascara, and wipe your cheeks with a faint application of blush. A pale pink lip, or a nude or shiny lip gloss finishes off this minimal makeup, yet maximum wow factor, look!

Colored Mascara Fun Fact: You can tone down colored mascara and still get the makeup’s eye enhancing benefits! Wear colored mascara on only your top lashes, or layer colored mascara over black mascara, and wear smokey gray or deep blue eye shadow! This provides a sensual, sexy, yet not overly made up look!
Paint your eyelashes to exquisite colorful splendor!

“I’ll take a look. Let me see.”
